Rigid endoscopes, also known as borescopes, are used for visual inspection of cavities and narrow bores, but also for visual inspection of smaller components or assemblies. Rigid endoscopes transmit the images to the eyepiece through the computer-calculated optical rod lens system. The focus is on excellent image reproduction and resolution, which enables reliable diagnostics inspections.

Flexible fiber optic endoscopes are easy to use and extremely flexible. They enable a glimpse into crooked rooms that would otherwise be inaccessible to the human eye. The endoscope owes its flexibility to the unique fiber optic image guide system.
